Vaccine Finder is a mobile application developed in React Native that aimed to assist people during the COVID-19 pandemic by providing notifications for available vaccination slots at different centers. Due to the high demand and limited availability of slots, the app helped users secure vaccination appointments by sending email notifications when slots became available.

- Slot Notifications: The app provided real-time notifications to users when vaccination slots became available at nearby centers, helping them quickly secure appointments.
- User-Friendly Interface: Vaccine Finder offered an intuitive and easy-to-use interface, allowing users to navigate and set up notifications with minimal effort
- Community Support: Vaccine Finder garnered significant support from the community during the COVID-19 crisis, with users appreciating its role in facilitating access to vaccination appointments.
- Vaccine Finder was also integrated with the Twitter API to display real-time news updates about COVID-19 and vaccination efforts. Users could stay informed about the latest developments directly within the app, enhancing its value as a comprehensive resource for both appointment notifications and pandemic-related news.
- Google Play Store Removal: Despite reaching a milestone of 10,000 downloads, Vaccine Finder was delisted from the Google Play Store due to violations of community guidelines cited by Google. The specific reasons for delisting may have included issues related to data handling, email notifications, or other policy violations.
- Discontinuation of Deployment: Following its delisting, the app was not redeployed to the Google Play Store. While it served its purpose during the critical period of the pandemic, the decision was made not to pursue reinstatement or further development.
